BTEC Home Cooking Skills

The pupils have been making use of their home-grown tomatoes this week. They learnt the technique 'blanching', where food is briefly boiled and then plunged into ice water. Everyone had a go at making a tomato sauce to cover the pasta, and the results were amazing.
