Two of Mary Astell Academy's pupils were proud recipients of awards at the Newcastle School's Achievement Awards, celebrating their success, resilience, and personal achievements throughout the year.
The special event brought together pupils, families, and school staff from across the city to recognise the outstanding accomplishments of young people in Newcastle's schools. It was a lovely occasion, providing an opportunity to celebrate the hard word and determination of pupils from a wide range of education settings.
The awards were presented by Paul Shadforth, Assistant Director of Education and Skills at Newcastle City Council, who congratulated the pupils on their achievements.
Everyone at Mary Astell is incredibly proud of both award winners. Their recognition reflects the commitment, perseverance and positive attitudes that they demonstrate every day, and they were excellent ambassadors for the school throughout the event.
Congratulations to both pupils on this well-deserved achievement.
