InReach Pupils Tackle GCSE-Level Science
Return to Latest News
InReach classes develop their knowledge through the study of genetics. They demonstrated various critical thinking skills, completing Punnett squares which combine mathematics and GCSE-level scientific terminology, as well as exploring inherited traits via Mr Men and their own family trees. Students also engaged in a statistics game ‘Survival of the Fittest’ which explores the adaptations of animals to their environment through natural selection and how genetics play a role in this. The pupils persevered to develop their knowledge despite the challenging content - demonstrating Prosper Learning Trust values through resilience and ambition.
